Hunter Douglas is a business existing for more than 100 years with the headquarters in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The architectural Product division of Hunter Douglas was developing from a traditional organization focused on wholesalers and installers to a modern projectorganization. In the first years I worked as the general manager of the Hunter Douglas organization in Moscow, Russian Federation, responsible for the business in the CIS countries. After a reorganization of the Russian company, with a new team of Russian and Dutch specialists the company realized big and impressive facade and sunshading projects in Moscow and other cities of the former Sovjet Union, like: Krilatsky Hills, Copper House, the Federations Tower and other buildings in Moscow City and all of the airports around Moscow and Saint Petersburg. After this period in Moscow I worked for more than three years for the headquarters in Rotterdam on an outroll of this strategy in Central and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
