Some words about me

I’m an experienced international (general) manager with a succesful trackrecord of working in the food (Aviko), textile (Ludvig Svensson and Hunter Douglas)  and construction material (Hunter Douglas) industry, with focus on sales, marketing and market development. I have strong strategy, business and product development and innovation skills.

In 2020 I started Maarten Oostenbrink Consultancy. In 2021 I started working as the chairmen of the supervisory board of a homecare organization (Cuprum BV) and as a member of the new advisory board of an advisory and research company (Delphy BV).

In my working life I try to create positive and creative change in organisations with a focus on making profit, but also on the environment, the people and the social responsibility of companies. The world is changing and we need a new type of companies and businesses, managed by a new type of leaders, who have to take their responsibility in achieving this. Starting point for myself is: "you have to practice what you preach".
